In 1929, Dr. L. E. Faris established Floral Hills Cemetery as a garden-type cemetery, a new concept at the time. Dr. Faris served as the cemetery's president until his death in 1952.Covering approximately 130 park-like acres, Floral Hills Cemetery is a picturesque final resting place. It includes 15 statues throughout the property and several special memorial structures. We are a non-denominational memorial park, serving the Kansas City community with personal, compassionate care.
